Metal Furniture
Metal furniture should be kept away from hard objects to avoid friction. When moving or cleaning, handle with care to prevent scratching the surface.
Use a dry cloth to wipe off dust and dirt. For oil stains or water marks, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it to maintain a smooth surface.
Avoid using rough cleaning tools to prevent surface damage.
Avoid prolonged exposure of metal furniture to moisture, and keep it dry, especially in humid environments like bathrooms or balconies.
Wooden Furniture
Avoid placing wooden furniture in direct sunlight or near air conditioning units, and do not place high-temperature or humid items directly on it.
When stains are noticed, wipe them off as soon as possible to prevent permanent marks.
Use a soft dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid allowing moisture to seep into the wood, as excess moisture can cause swelling or warping.
Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive tools, as they may damage the finish. Place heat-resistant pads under hot items to extend the furniture’s lifespan.
Due to Taiwan's humid and hot climate, ensure proper ventilation indoors. If necessary, use a dehumidifier to prevent the wood from absorbing moisture and warping.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause wood to fade and crack. Try to place furniture in shaded areas and use curtains or blinds to filter sunlight.
Textile Furniture
For daily cleaning, use a lint roller or a small vacuum cleaner with a fabric attachment, and avoid placing the furniture near heat sources.
Similar to wooden furniture, textile furniture should be kept out of direct sunlight for long periods to prevent fabric fading or becoming brittle.
Stains should be cleaned as soon as possible to avoid permanent marks.
For dirt, spot clean and gently dry the area with a hairdryer, avoiding large damp areas.
For tough stains, it is recommended to seek professional cleaning services.
