Return and Exchange Policy

DesignBite carefully inspects the products before shipping. We kindly ask buyers to take photos or videos when unboxing and checking the product immediately upon receipt. If a return or exchange is necessary due to our error (such as receiving the wrong item or defects during shipping), please contact us within 7 days of receiving the package. We will offer a full refund or replacement with the same item depending on the situation. Requests made after the 7-day period will not be processed.

Returned or exchanged products must be in their original condition. If the product is damaged, scratched, soiled, or the packaging is damaged or accessories are missing due to improper handling or use, we will not be able to accept the return or exchange.

Online shoppers are entitled to a 7-day appreciation period after receiving the product, but this period is not intended for trial use.

 

Out of Stock

In the event that an item is out of stock, we will immediately contact you via email or phone to confirm whether you are willing to wait for the item or choose an alternative product. If we are unable to meet your needs, you may choose to receive a refund, and we will process it as quickly as possible.

 

Product Defect Standards

The product must be unused, free from any human damage or shipping-related issues, and ensure that all accessories are included.

Friendly Reminder: Please inspect the packaging immediately upon receiving your online order. If there are any issues, provide photos or videos as proof and contact customer service. We will promptly arrange for the reshipment of a new product or missing accessories.

 

Return/Exchange for Reasons Other Than Product Defects

If you wish to return or exchange a product within the appreciation period due to reasons such as not meeting your expectations, please contact us by phone or email during our service hours.

For returns or exchanges not related to product defects (such as color changes, etc.), the buyer will be responsible for the shipping fees. The exchange process will follow the manufacturer's arrangements.

Defective Product Handling Process

  1. Within 7 days of receiving the product, please send detailed photos of the defective item via email or our official LINE to contact us. We will not be able to process requests after the 7-day period.
  2. The email should include: Your name / Contact number / Product number / Description of the defect along with photos or videos.
  3. Once customer service confirms the defect, we will contact you to verify your shipping address and arrange for an exchange or reshipment of missing accessories. Please ensure the product is in its original packaging with all accessories ready for pickup by the courier.

 

The Following Situations Are Not Considered Product Defects. Please Consider Carefully Before Placing an Order

  1. Metal furniture may have irregular welding marks due to the welding process. This is a natural occurrence in welding and cannot be fully smoothed or refined. Additionally, there may be a ±3% tolerance in dimensions, which is not considered a defect.
  2. Wooden furniture made from natural wood may have different grain patterns and knots, which are a result of the unique growing environment of each tree. This is a natural occurrence and not a defect.
  3. Ceramic/Glass items are handmade, and may have small black spots, bubbles, or small dents, which are natural occurrences during the high-temperature firing process. Additionally, ceramic and glass items from different batches may have slight color variations, which is normal.
  4. All products are brand new. If the shape, smell, or function does not meet your expectations, it is not considered a defect.
  5. Fabric products may have slight variations in color or texture, which is not considered a defect.
  6. Marble, being made from natural stone, will have unique patterns and colors that may vary due to the natural characteristics of the stone, which is normal.
  7. Color discrepancies are not a quality issue. Due to differences in display devices, colors may appear differently. If you have strict color requirements, we recommend purchasing from a physical store.

 

Situations Where Returns or Exchanges Cannot Be Accepted

  1. Damage to or loss of outer packaging, inner packaging, or accessories will not be eligible for return or exchange.
  2. Products or packaging that have been damaged by external forces (e.g., scratches, stains, etc.) affecting resale value cannot be returned or exchanged.
  3. Products that are signed for and received beyond 7 days cannot be returned or exchanged.
  4. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted due to personal preferences (e.g., design or color preferences).

 

Free Appreciation Period

In accordance with the "Consumer Protection Law," consumers may apply for a return within 7 days after receiving the product (based on the delivery receipt or postmark date, with the day after delivery counted as day 1; returns will not be accepted after this period). Please note that the appreciation period is not a trial period. If you are dissatisfied with the product, please do not unbox or use it, and follow the return policy.

Returned items must be in brand-new condition, with complete packaging (including the product itself, accessories, gifts, warranty card, original packaging, and all related documents). Please ensure no accessories are missing and the original outer box is not damaged, as this may affect your return rights and may result in a deduction for the cost of restoring the product to its original condition.
